Who must be baptized, Child of the Devil or Child of God?

How can a person obtain salvation? *

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

When a person receives Christ by faith, does he become a child of God? *

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:26)

Did John the Baptist baptized children of the devil? *

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Note: Generation of Vipers means they were children of the devil.
