Is Salvation Received by Baptism or by Faith?

We are going to study how a person receives salvation. Is it by baptism or by faith? The belief that a person is saved through baptism is called, Baptismal salvation. The Bible teaches in Ephesians 2: 8-9 that Salvation is by grace through faith. Please read the following verses given and select what does the verses teach:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) *

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5) *
